My Wish List
I love books that are rich in storytelling, make a difference and offer a unique perspective and possibility to readers. A fantastic book is one that stays with you well after the reading.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
- Books under the Mind, Body, Spirit umbrella
- Non-fiction books that make a difference to the world, whether it is sharing a different perspective on well-known subjects or sharing untold histories and stories
- Epic fantasy (no Romantasy please) – think books along the lines of The Wheel of Time, Ember in the Ashes, The Mistborn Saga. Fantasy fiction for me includes great world building, ambiguous characters, political intrigue and a solid magical system.
- Middle Grade Fantasy Fiction
- Uplifting fiction, especially centred around communities coming together and making a difference
- Magical Realism
- Memoir Plus
